Framework have moved to a new site at http://framework.parallellines.org.uk/
Framework is a curatorial research and development project, created in recognition of diverse, innovative and ambitious practice across Scotland. It aims to provide a sustained platform in which to jointly discuss curatorial practice and theory; for curators to explore their work within a wider international context.
Framework began with a series of itinerant workshops and discussions in 2011 at venues across Scotland, hosted by leading curators and writers from the UK and further afield. Unlike the traditional format of talks, lectures or seminars when the majority are audience members receiving information from the authored position of a speaker, Framework supports the possibility for dynamic platforms of exchange and dialogue between all participants, in order to create productive cultural debate.
Framework is organized by Kirsteen Macdonald (Parallel Lines) in partnership with CCA, Glasgow.
